Leading a double life for some means time spent away from the limelight, but for opera singer, Shu-Cheen Yu, her double life has meant spending every minute in the spotlight. The Berwick local has released more than seven albums, performed in front of 100,000 people and spent 20 years on stage carving the airwaves with her vocal chords. Off stage, she’s won 12 Opera Australia industry awards, is a teacher part-time and a director of her own building company. Justin Robertson spoke to her this week.
